Story image 1_0

Information

More and more children with special health care needs and chronic illnesses are entering our schools every day.  Examples of chronic health conditions include, but are not limited to, asthma, diabetes, seizures, allergies, genetic disorders, immunological disorders, cancer, orthopedic disorders, neuromotor disorders, and mental health disorders.

Please inform the school nurse if your child has a chronic health condition, including information about any treatment or medication prescribed for your child.  A health history will be sent hoe yearly to provide an opportunity for parents to provide information to the school nurse regarding health conditions and concerns that may impact a student's academic performance.
