Chris Tuck –
This is my 14th year with the Seaman school district, and currently I am the school nurse at Indian Creek elementary school and the Health Services Director. I started my nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduating from Kaw Area Technical School in 1976, received my Diploma degree in registered nursing through Stormont-Vail School of Nursing in 1982, my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Graceland College in Lamoni, IA in 1996. I completed a Master’s of Science in Health Services Administration with emphasis on community health/school nursing from California College of Health Sciences in 2003. I am also nationally certified as a school nurse.
I have been married to my husband Lee for 30 years and have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren.

Kathy Holmberg -
Kathy has been a school nurse in the Seaman school district 9 years. Her first year she worked at Northern Hills and North Fairview but has been full time at Northern Hills since. She graduated from Washburn University School of Nursing and previously worked at SVRMC as a float nurse and in neurology. She worked for 11 years at the Shawnee County Health Agency in the Disease Control/Immunization program. She is certified through the Kansas State Board of Education in School Nursing as well as maintaining her nursing licensure through the Kansas State Board of Nursing. Her husband, David works at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas. She has 2 daughters, Amanda (16) and Maggie (14) who attend Washburn Rural High School.

Laura Blanchard -
The 2006-2007 school year marks my 4th year with USD 345. I am the Health Para at Seaman High School in the mornings and Elmont in the afternoons. I attended Topeka Technical College in 1992 and graduated as a Medical Assistant. I have lived in Topeka for the past 11 years, the past six being in the Seaman district. I am married to my husband Tim and we have 2 daughters. Samantha is a seventh grader at Northern Hills and Hannah is in the fourth grade at West Indianola.

Jenny Crowell -
This is my 2nd year as a school nurse with the Seaman school district. I am the nurse at Lyman Elementary and East Indianola Elementary school. I graduated from Washburn School of Nursing in 1996. I worked in Olathe, Kansas until 2004 when I moved to Topeka. I am married to Brandon who is a firefighter for the City of Topeka. He is also a Seaman graduate. We have 2 very energetic boys. Brice is 5 and Bradyn is 2.

Garrie Oppitz -
This is my 10th year at Seaman High School. I am a two time graduate of Washburn University. I have a degree in education and taught school at Royal Valley before returning to Washburn University to major in nursing. I am certified in school nursing. I enjoy sports and play in "old lady" recreation leagues. I am married and have a son that attends Seaman High School.

Kristi Wittmaier -
This is my 8th year with Seaman School district and currently I work as an LPN at East Indianola, and North Fairview Elementary School. I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1982, and since that time have moved and worked in many different health care facilities.
I have been married to my husband Sam for 19 years and we have 2 boys.

Vera Kozubek -
This will be my eighth year working as a Health Para-professional for the Seaman district. I have also been a Seaman Parent of Three Children, Michelle 17, Kyndra, 15, and Ryan 12, for then years now. Previously I had worked at a bank for 14 years and then stayed home for a few years until my children got older and all were in school. I enjoy reading, writing, and artistic things when and if I can find the time. I also enjoy living and working in the Seaman area and hope to continue doing so in the future.

Nancy Ellison -
Mrs Ellison is a native Topekan and a graduate of Topeka High School. She received her BSN from Washburn University and has worked many years in Home Health at Aldersgate Village and as a supervisor for Kelly Home Care. She is currently pursuing school nurse certification at Washburn University. This is her fifth year as a school nurse with the Seaman district. She is also the bookkeeper for her husband Jim's business, Ellison Automotive Repair. Their only daughter, Chris, is a nurse at Select Specialty Hospital. Hobbies include reading, walking and church activities

Barb Morgart -

I have worked as a substitute nurse in the Health Rooms for the Seaman District since 2002.  This is my first year as a Seaman Employee.  I am the school nurse at West Indianola.  I have a BSN from Pittsburg State University and a Master's Degree in Nursing from KU. I previously worked at SVRMC in Obstetrics. leaving there as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.  My husband, Dennis, is a 25 year employee for BNSF. We have three children in the Seaman District.  Arianna is a Junior, Brenna is an 8th Grader, and Reid is a 5th Grader.

Kim McCullough -

This is my third year working in the Seaman district as a Para. Currently I am working at Rochester Elementary and North Fairview Elementary as a Health Para. I am a 2002 graduate of Seaman High School and actively pursuing my certification as a Medical Transcriptionist from Kaw Area Technical School. I have worked in various Health Care facilities and Day Care facilities in Topeka and Amarillo, TX. I enjoy sports, watching and playing softball during the summer and reading.
