SHS Track Closed
Due to construction beginning Wed., December 3, 2008, the SHS Track will be off limits to all vistors until further notice. Thank you for your understanding.
Food Drive
The SHS Leadership Class is collecting canned food items to donate to Project Topeka who will distribute the donations among the area food banks. Please drop off your cans during seminar. The seminar collecting the most cans by the 17th will be awarded a pizza party. The second and third place seminars will also get a prize after winter break. Check the tally board in Mr. Fries' room (E-1) to see who is winning.
Toy Drive
Make this Christmas a very merry one for the children at the Mission. Bring your new or very slightly used toys to the Commons during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays or drop them by the Main Office before or after school.

Rachel's Challenge
Seaman High School will be hosting a program highlighting Rachel's Challenge on December 3, 2008. Rachel's Challenge ..."INSPIRES, INSTRUCTS, and ENABLES students to bring positive change to your school environment." Students will have the opportunity to hear more about Rachel's Challenge on December 3 during the day and parents and community members will be offered a presentation at 7PM the evening of Dec. 3. Musical Auditions
Any students wishing to audition for the Spring Musical-comedy "ONCE UPON A MATTRESS" Audition clinics will be Monday and Tuesday- Dec. 1 and 2, in Mr. Huff's vocal room. Audition Clinics are to familiarize yourself with the songs to be sung and the dance steps to for auditions. Actual auditions will be held on Wed., Dec. 3, in the auditorium. Callbacks will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4. All this happens RIGHT AFTER we return from Turkey-Day Break. Rehearsals for the musical will not actually start until after the Holiday Break. All-City Volleyball
Congratulations to Coach Erica Cowhick for being chosen as the City Coach of the Year in her first year as the SHS Volleyball Coach!! First Team selections include Audrey Horton and Jordan Sackman. Second Team selections include Amanda Gerety, Ashley Jurgens, and Lindsay Larkin. Dani Anguish was an Honorable Mention for All-City. Read more on CJ Online.
